Lonely, thought that you were lonely
Found that you were only
In My hand
I love you, forever I have loved you
I'm always thinking of you
In My plan
Though the fog of doubt may still enshroud your mind
It is I, so come and follow Me!
I'll lead you, come and I will lead you
Never will you need to
Fear death's sting
I'm in you, bubbling within you
Flowing like a river
Refreshing
Though the web of sin may still entangle you
Seek My truth, and I will set you free
Fire, step into My fire
I'm the purifier
You're the gold
Glory, come behold My glory
Exceeding every story
You've been told
Though the cloud of death will overshadow you
At mid-week, My Son will rise anew
Lonely, thought that you were lonely
Found that you were only
In My hand
I love you, forever I have loved you
I'm always thinking of you
In My plan
Oh this is a valley cut into the hill
Whose waters ran so swift and clear
But the filth of sin has settled in until
No drink of truth is taken here
Though there's yet a few who find the secret spring
Of everlasting life anew
For the multitude there's just a stagnant swill
Of lies that soak the nation through
From Spokane to Cheyenne and Boise in between
Chicago, Urbana, St. Lou'
Till it all came to rest in Arcadia F-L-A
When at last all our journeys were through
Fare thee well to my sweetness
So long to my friends
Don't you mourn, don't you shed no more tears
For Grampaw is smilin' and I'm a-doin' fine
Looking back on those wonderful years
To Trudy in Plano, to Richie by the beach
To Orange-town to no avail
Our first trip to Boise, then headed for the hills
Till the numeric memory failed
Fare thee well to my sweetness
So long to my kin
Now I know Him as I have been known
For Grampaw is smilin' and I'm a-doin' fine
Settled into my heavenly home
Fare thee well to my sweetness
So long to my friends
Don't you mourn, don't you shed no more tears
For Grampaw is smilin' and I'm a-doin' fine
Looking back on those wonderful years
Looking back on those wonderful years
On a sea of sorrows, in a world full of fears
With unsure tomorrows and travail
Oh, my bride, how it grieves me so to see you in tears
And to know you think I've failed
Through all this you may wonder if I have been true
But I have, and I am, and I always will be true
On a path uncertain, paved with stones of regret
As the final curtain is drawn
All my deeds of the past may seem to haunt every step
And you sense all hope is gone
Through all this you may lose all the trust you could feel
But my heart's filled with love that can never be repealed
On a bed of darkness, in a shadowy room
When I seem too heartless to love
Please remember the pledges that I made unto you
And my faith in who's above
Through all this may you know now that I have loved you
For I have, and I do, and I always will love you
On a hilltop distant, hangs the fruit of the tree
Ripened at the instant in time
And its flesh offers sweetness there to all who would eat
And a life that never dies
Through all this may you learn that the Lord has been true
That He has, and He does, and He always will love you
No one but Jesus, Jesus, will we serve
No one but Jesus, Jesus, made this earth
Higher than any name, lifted above
No one but Jesus, Jesus, earned our love
The Prince of Peace, the Blood of the Lamb
That covers the sin of the world
The Lord of Lords, the King of the Kings
The stone that's the seed of the pearl
No one but Jesus, Jesus, is the Way
No one but Jesus, Jesus, hears us pray
Seated upon the throne, gleaming and white
No one but Jesus, Jesus, is the Light
The Word made flesh, the First and the Last
The One with the stars in His Hand
His two-edged sword, His Eyes of fire
The Beginning of all that was planned
No one but Jesus, Jesus, is the Truth
No one but Jesus, Jesus, our living proof
He struggled like any man, acquainted with strife
No one but Jesus, Jesus, gives us Life
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
How long must you wait
To choose whom you will serve?
If Yeshuah is Lord
Love Him with verve
Hear the Word of God
Let My People go
Harden not your hearts
Unlike Pharaoh
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
No more shall it rain
Until the River dries
Admitting all the hordes
Of the moonrise
But they shall drink the blood
Of our God's holy wrath
Rejecting His True Son
And His good path
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Send Your fire down
Consume them where they stand
Remove this evil scourge
From Your homeland
Mark Messiah’s blood
Upon our hearts and minds
That when death angels come
They shall pass by
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
"Climb up to the Mount
Gaze upon the sea
Of unbelieving mobs
Who revile Me"
"Lay your body down
Beneath the butchers' knife
Every seed must die
That would bring life"
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe, Eliyahu-Moshe
Pictured here is my grandmother Rita, with whom I always enjoyed a special relationship. I was the first of her 12 grandchildren, who were born over a span of nearly 30 years to four of her own six children. The picture has a lovely hand-written note on the back: “Dear David - Taken at Walla Walla this is a picture that you might treasure. You had been staying with Grandpa and me while Steven was born and in the first week or so of his life. Your Dad said I overfed you – hence the round cheeks! I used to call you my little Buddha, as you seemed so solemn & wise for such a small creature. I loved caring for you and will love you always, Grandma Rita.” Besides being such a loving and joy-filled wife, mother and grandmother, she was also a numerologist. She shared this skill shortly after I became engaged to my first wife – sending me pages upon pages of beautifully handwritten guidance. This included frank and eerily prophetic warnings about coming marital difficulties.
As the name of this collection implies, this was a time when I felt the Lord had given me a new name – corresponding to a new mission He was about to reveal to me.
